According to the agenda, write this book report Ethics for Amador by Fernando Savater inserting some of the things we've seen in class and some examples, although some may seem unlikely, not entirely WRONG. According
Savater, ethics as politics, seeking people to lead a good life, however, ethics is responsible for individuals, and that they understand why things are done a certain way. While in the case of politics, it is intended that in general all people can achieve this "good life", no matter how achieved, this means that only seeks the most favorable outcome for society.
Once this difference, what follows is to explain aaside these apparent differences, because many of these causes of division among populations were not chosen by the people. When taken as equal to others can understand their point of view, which we are putting in place and we understand that they expect from us, this Savater called, "the virtue of justice." This also helps us when we argue about something, it allows us to understand, if only in a vague way, why the opinions of others, which can help us analyze our own point of view.
But this freedom also has the consequence that we can make mistakes, so one must assume responsibility for the acts performed. An example is that in the Liceo does not really prevent us from carrying cell phones, we are free to take, but if something happens, then it is our responsibility because we who choose to wear them. This responsibility, which causes people to feel guilty by acting in a wrong way, and they feel they are doing wrong is derived from the morale of the people, because as we saw in class, moral norms are those things we can not make or stop making us feel no wrong.
The wrongdoing, however, not be used to discriminate against people who carry them out, as Savater said: "the most important thing about men is not whether his behavior seems appropriate or not, but-as to humans, I agree "(Savater, 2008). In addition, mprove would help people so that others may live better.
Finally, Savater mentioned some of the features that should be the ideal political system, once they explained what people need in order to be happy. According Savater, the ideal political system should be based on freedom, or at least to be less punitive. This (freedom), as explained above, imply that people should be more accountable for their actions. Also this system should, as the policy is based on relationships between humans, as much as possible to promote equality between people, that it would also help people with social services.
However, tambien said that the ideal political system there, and there will always be people who suffer, but there will also be people who, although "the circumstances do not allow them to take more than a relatively good life" (Savater, 2008), taking advantage of differences between ethics and politics to be happy them, and in some cases, help others to be too.
Finally, you might conclude that what the book says is that ethics is responsible for studying how people can get a good life, which is not only a happy life, that is, between humans.
